In preparation for Making Tax Digital we, at TAGTax Limited, wanted to make sure we were embracing the digital era and taking advantage of the ability to streamline our records across the business, which is a benefit of Xero. We wanted to leave behind the frustrations of stand alone systems and tap into the ability to forecast cash flow in real time, use direct bank feeds for reconciliations, submit VAT returns directly and have the ability to manage our business at any time, in any place from anywhere.
Julia was very efficient in working remotely with the team to ensure that on boarding to Xero was successfully achieved, she was always at the end of the phone or email in response to all of our queries. Our external bookkeeper was effectively trained in using Xero, so much so that we have taken her on full time. Some of the successes of this ledger conversion have included the simplification of our invoicing process and we can now see a snapshot of the business’s activity daily from the Dashboard which helps to support our decision making.
